+BT Community Connections+
More than 1,700 community projects have already benefitted from the 
scheme and over the next 18 months a further £1 million worth of Internet-
ready computers will be awarded to groups throughout the UK.  Applications 
can be made online at www.btcommunityconnections.com, alternatively, an 
application pack can be requested from BT Community Connections, PO 
Box 30775, London WC1B 4QE

+Charities Aid Foundation (CAF)+
Approx. £1 million will be made available to small & medium sized charitable 
organisations with less than £1.5 million in income.  This will take effect from 
May 2002.  It will include a 'fast track' fund supporting specific training 
needs, with decisions made within 10 working days.  Information is available

+Global Grants+
£2 million for voluntary and community sector projects in Yorkshire & the 
Humber.  Target groups include people with disabilities; people from ethnic 
minority communities; lone parents; the homeless; people with literacy and 
numeracy needs; people needing IT skills.  More information is available by

+The YAPP Charitable Trust+
Grants are available to small registered charities in the UK, whose normal 
annual turnover is less than £100,000.  Most grants are for one year but 
applications for up to three years will be considered.  Single year grants are 
usually for less than £3,000.  Grants cover a variety of activities including 
work with the elderly, children and health.  They also make grants in the 
fields of education and learning (including lifelong learning).  Further
