Thinking of standing for the CMA Council?
COMMUNITY MEDIA ASSOCIATION Festival AND AGM 2006

Annual General Meeting
Do you care about the Community Media sector and want to contribute to
its development? Why not stand for the CMA Council or nominate someone else?
Please ensure that you send your completed and signed Nomination Form to
the CMA office to arrive by 12.00 noon on Wednesday 15th November 2006.
Nominees for Council Membership must be paid-up members of the CMA, or
representatives of organisations, which are themselves paid-up members.
Nominations must be in writing and should have a proposer and seconder
who must also be members of the CMA. There are eight seven for election
this year to serve a two-year term on the CMA Council.

AGM 2006 website and from the CMA Head Office. Please do contact us if
you would like advice or to discuss standing for election.

The CMA Festival and AGM is the UK Community Media sector’s premier
event. It draws a range of visitors from all over the UK, including
Community Media practitioners, policy makers, local government
officials, development agencies and technology providers. This year’s
Festival has an exciting line-up of speakers from the UK and abroad plus
a diverse range of practical workshops for seasoned practitioners and
newcomers. It is a chance to gain expertise, share experiences and
network. This is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the
UK’s fast growing Community Media Sector.
