Dear Susan,
the UNESCO team,
the OER community.
1) this is a great encouragement to the whole OER community.
that participated with various degrees of involvement
2) politically, it is an excellent asset
to defend OER activities at UNESCO,
across all UNESCO sectors, and reinforce the
whole UNESCO institution,, to
expand and to continue this effort,
and to get more resources for this purpose.
3) this leadership award should be accounted in the WSIS stocktaking,
and this award should be mentioned in the report of the
WSIS e-learning action whose facilitation meeting was held recently
in Geneva.
4) lastly, with a more personnal touch, many thanks to Susan,
whose unending enthusiasm has been the catalyst of this
specific UNESCO effort
Triple Cheers
Francis
