[Foss-sadc] [DigAfrica] Kilinux releases Jambo OpenOffice

Hi All,

Good to hear that people are keeping well. Just to add on this 
OpenOffice localization thread. I am so happy about this development. It 
just shows the commitment involved when it comes to FOSS projects.

However, as for the Kenya & Tanzania Kiswahili, i bet Kiswahili is 
Kiswahili. People in the EA agree on the dictionary/Kamusi. Tanzania has 
the best Kiswahili. In Kenya we have come up with a slang commonly 
referred to as Sheng (Mix of English, Kiswahili and various local 
languages). However, it is not formally acceptable as such but we 
communicate a lot in it. Indeed it is not acceptable in the classroom 
and Kiswahili is a compulsory subject all through to end of secondary 
school.
