 PGP utilities include file and freespace wipe.

 There can be better things done using PGP libraries.  Best to keep
 your user-generated material such as documents on a 1 or 2 GByte
 removable disk which is entirely encrypted, and which is filled
 with random encrypted junk in all unused parts.
