i think two is best as well.  i like the idea of moderator/ 
facilitators but i also hope we consider giving the designated duo a  
certain amount of ability to function with the outside without  
needing to get approval of every word they say or action they take.

i guess in the scale of weak - strong role, i favor a moderately  
strong one, and hence included the ability to vote them out in the  
original charter.  i also think that they should be expected to have  
their own opinions etc, but will need to be careful to distinguish  
between their opinions and the opinions of the WG when acting publicly

ok, but only until sometime early in January.  i really do want to  
step away from this role as soon as reasonable, though i am willing  
to remain list caretaker and plan to stay invovled.
