Hi all,
we need to submit names for the overpasses used during the summit (a kind
of crowd control mechanism to ensure the plenary is not flooded by 15.000
people).
Who of you will need an overpass and has not already secured one through
other channels (government delegations, other caucuses)?
I have to submit names by Friday. Please reply to me privately if you are
interested.
Ralf

In considering the allocation of passes for the Tunis Summit the CSB
has taken into account:
• Active caucus’s, families and working groups, measured by reports from
Phase 1;
• Active caucus’s, families and working groups that have emerged in Phase 2;
• The numbers of participants in the various groupings.
Passes will be distributed at the Tunis Summit by the Civil Society
Bureau Secretariat (CSBS).
The following process will be co-ordinated at the CSBS (based at CONGO
in Geneva).
Passes for High Level Panel
There are 35 passes available and 36 groupings in civil society. These
are listed below.
The CSB will request a minimum of 36 passes and another two (making 38)
for the HIGH Level Panel to be held at the Tunis Summit.
Each group below will be able to request one pass which will be
allocated on the basis of registering a request.
If the additional passes are supplied, or if any remain after the
selection process, they will be reserved for past active caucus’s that
may re-emerge and emergent caucus’s. Any remaining after this will be
returned to the Executive Secretariat for allocation to other
stakeholder groupings.
*Action required:*
Please register your interest in being allocated a High Level Panel pass
on the following email, before 12 noon Geneva time on Friday 30th
September, 2005.

reserved for host country civil society organisations.
*Action required:*
Each civil society as listed below is asked to submit a request stating
the number of participants you are expecting to attend the Summit. An
assessment will be made on the basis of expected attendance and the
known relative size of each grouping. Please submit names to the email
below before 12 noon Geneva time on Friday 30th September, 2005.
