That is a good point. On the other hand, it is normally part of and the
reason for data protection legislation. That's why we "urge" for this.
Any ideas on language anyone?
Attached find the refined versions of both statements. I will be offline
for the next few hours, but will check my mails later tonight. I will
produce final versions by tomorrow morning.
Who of you can channel the "compromise" version to their governments or to
other governments? So far, we have Finland, Danmark and Germany on the
list. I will also approach France and El Salvador as well as the UK EU
presidency.
Robert, you take Canada, it guess?
Any others? India? Kuwait?
