Vittorio:
a couple of quick comments related to your earlier email and the
consultation the last few days in general..
1. the Free software community is well known and their comments at the
consultation could have been predicted. Did anyone consult with them?
Did they both (at all) to share their views
with us in advance on any of the lists? Is it really the PCT group
(patents, copyright and trademarks) or the Free Software foundation
speaking?
I ask this question as IP Justice and others (also in the caucus) at
times have a very different view and approach..
2. Thanks for mentioning the Internet Rights initiative in your
intervention. Curious on what feedback and/or comments you got from
folks in the room, for example the Council of Europe.
look forward to your comments
(back to watch the Olympic hockey game - Canada's playing the swiss!)
regards
Robert
